Click here if you use a PokerTracker 2 PostgreSQL database.

Get the datamining started

1) Select the pokerroom you want SpadeEye to use with in the SpadeEye Client menu.

2) Run the poker client and make sure the correct tablelist is being displayed in the poker client lobby.

3) When datamining with SpadeEye, then SpadeEye takes care of retrieving the handhistory files for observed tables.
The handhistory files are written to a destination directory. Go to "Main->options->general" in SpadeEye and set an existing destination directory.
Basically you can set any existing directory as destination directory, but for easier usage you should set the destination directory to your PartyPoker "handhistory" directory.
Example: C:\program files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory

What ever destination directory you set, make sure the same directoy is added to your PokerTracker / HoldemManager / ... auto import folders. It is up to you, to import the handhistory files (that SpadeEye generates) into a database.

Set the Extension to "txt".

With this setting the autoimport of your database application should be able to find the correct files.

4) Configure the Limits tab in the options.
Select the stake(s) you want to datamine from the tree of cash games and add them to the list at the bottom.

5) Configure the Open Tables tab in the options.
Set the type of table you want to datamine (6 Max or Fullring).
Set the number of tables to datamine.
Set the minimum number of players a table must have in order to get opened for datamining.
6) Configure the Close Tables tab in the options.
Set the minimum number of players a table must have in order to stay open for datamining.

7) Go to "Datamining->start complete automatic" to run the datamining.

If configured correct then SpadeEye will open up some tables and start to write the handhistories to disk.
