What is Semi-Smart datamining?
1) Make sure the iPoker lobby is sorted by tablename or stake.
2) The "quick search" tablelist in the iPoker client is not supported.
3) Make sure you use the english iPoker client.
EyePoker is able to "read" your local poker client lobby. This process is called scaning.
Make sure the desired poker room client is running and that the correct tablelist is visible in the lobby.
Remember: EyePoker reads your local lobby...
Press Scan All Tables to run the scanning.
If configured correct then the tables and playernames along with their statistics from your local database will start to appear in EyePoker.
EyePoker reads the iPoker lobby via optical character recognition (OCR).
The OCR only works if clear type fonts are disabled.
EyePoker disables the clear type fonts on startup.
EyePoker restores the clear type fonts when closing.
Nevertheless this steps may fail and you will have to do this on your own:
1) Go to Control Panel
2) Click the "Display" icon
3) Click the "Appearance" Tab
4) Click the "Effects" button
5) Change the font to use "Standard" and not "ClearType"
EyePoker always scans the currently in the iPoker client visible stake(s).
It is not able to select the stakes on its own.
Nevertheless it can filter for the visible stakes.
Take a closer look at the EyePoker Filter.
After a scan the advanced and overall tablefilter gets applied.
Go to your EyePoker Filter and modify or disable these two filters.
Have you added your database in "main->options->databases"?
Click here if you use a default PokerTracker 2 Access database.

Click here if you use a PokerOffice 2 MySQL database.
Make sure you add the correct database, and not an empty one.
Please contact support@spadeit.com.
Include the following:
1) The complete error message.
2) What EyePoker version do you use?
3) What database and version do you use?
4) Include a screenshot of "main->options->databases" if possible.
5) Include a screenshot of "File->maintain database names" if you use PokerTracker 2.
6) Include a screenshot of "database->database management" if you use PokerTracker 3.
Datamining is the process of observing and gathering information about your opponents play.
Poker is a game of imperfect information.
Thus the more information you have, the higher your advantage will be.
The handhistories are written as XML-files to a so called Destination directory.
See "Main->options->general" to set this directory.
Important: Make sure the directory you specify is existing. Otherwise no handhistory files will be written to disk.
EyePoker takes care of reconstructing the handhistory files for observed tables.
It is up to you, to import these handhistory files into a database.
1) Make sure you use the english iPoker client.
2) Make sure the chatwindow is located at the bottom left corner of a tables.
3) Make sure all dealer messages in the chatwindow at the table are enabled like in the screenshot below:
EyePoker always datamines the currently in the iPoker client visible stake(s).
It is not able to select the stakes on its own.
Nevertheless it can filter for the visible stakes.
Take a closer look at the EyePoker Filter.
Go to "Datamining->Run datamining" to run the datamining.
If configured correct then EyePoker will open up some tables and start to write the handhistories to disk.
The idea behind the Semi-Smart datamining is to open the tables based on the results of a tablescan.
It works like this:
1) Run a scan
2) Sort the scan result e.g. by "#reads" ascending
3) Open top X tables from scan result
4) Datamine them for about 30 minutes
5) Close all tables and get back to step 1)
Thus it would datamine the tables where you have less reads on with a higher priority.
This is a more intelligent way of datamining.
There are endless possibilities to use this semi-smart method:
- Dataminine the tables where your buddies are sitting at with a higher priority.
- Dataminine the tables with the highest average potsize first.
